Oak Harbor High School track athletes piled up 127 personal bests in a three-team meet at Wildcat Memorial Stadium Thursday, March 30.
Arlington and Stanwood also took part; team scores were not reported.
The Wildcat boys registered 73 of the new personal records and won five events.
Mac Nuanez led the charge with victories in the 200 meters (23.7) and 400 (51.88). Other winners were Ozell Jackson (high jump, 5-10), Jordan Washington (long jump, 20-01) and Garren Guerrero (triple jump, 42).
The girls captured four firsts: Alex Smith (1,600, 5:35.75), Julie Jansen (discus, 104-04), Cami Bristow (javelin, 105-02) and the 4×200 relay (Kaitlyn Chelberg, Alora Caillier, Leielle Salinger, Amaya Rittierodt, 1:53.65).
The next meet is 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, when Marysville-Pilchuck and Snohomish visit Oak Harbor.
