Wildcats lose 2 matches by same score / Tennis

The Oak Harbor High School tennis team dropped a pair of 5-2 non-league road matches this week.

Anacortes (6-6) beat the Wildcats Wednesday and Lynnwood (5-7) Thursday.

Oak Harbor (4-7) closes out the regular season with two more non-league matches. The first is the final home contest with Mariner (0-13) at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14.

Anacortes 5, Oak Harbor 2

Singles: Ezra Franklin won 6-3, 6-3; 2, Ridgely Briddell lost 6-1, 6-2; 3, Yuji Caballero lost 6-1, 6-0; 4, Ben Servatius lost 6-3, 6-2.

Doubles: 1, Micah Franklin/Nick Krantz won 4-6, 6-2, 6-0; 2, Samuel Peek/Ethan Snell lost 6-0, 6-4; 3, Lawrence Javelo/John Blankman lost 6-3, 6-3.

Lynnwood 5, Oak Harbor 2
