Wildcats finish 6th in 41-team tournament | Girls wrestling

Although they fielded wrestlers in only seven of the 12 weight classes, the Oak Harbor High School girls finished tied for sixth in the 41-team Lady Wolfpack Invitational at Everett's Jackson High School Saturday, Feb. 1.

Isabel Garcia (100 pounds) and Amber Cramsey (235) led the Wildcats by placing third. Caitlynn Woodworth (145) and Meredith Bain (155) nabbed fifths.

Mount Baker won the team title with 162.5 points. Oak Harbor and Burlington-Edison tied for sixth with 72, just four points out of fourth.

Meredith Bain, 155 (fifth place): Won by fall, :38; lost 10-3; won by fall, 1:52; won 12-4; lost 8-4.
