Wildcats edge Everett / Girls golf

Led by Jessica Aguilar, the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team nipped Everett 231-233 Tuesday, March 26, at the Whidbey Golf Club.

The win was Oak Harbor’s first in two Wesco North matches this spring.

Aguilar paced the Wildcats with an 18-over 54 in nine holes, one stroke better than Danalin Matro. Hannah Rogers fired a 58, Jenna Flores 64, Sara Rhodes 71 and Makenna Ronning 72.

Everett’s Allison Reed posted the day’s best score, 53.

Oak Harbor will host Glacier Peak in a non-league match at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 10.
