After losing its first three matches of the season, all at home, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team hit the road for the first time Tuesday, March 24, but the results were the same.

The Wildcats fell 7-0 to Glacier Peak in Snohomish.

“The singles players continued to play well but lost to a better team,” coach Horace Mells said.

“Our doubles continued to struggle. Hopefully we’ll get things worked out during our next two days of practice and be ready for Everett on Friday.”

Oak Harbor (0-4) hosts the Seagulls (2-1) at 3:30 p.m.

Singles results versus Glacier Peak (2-0): 1, Makenzie Perry lost 6-4, 6-2; 2, AnnaBelle Whitefoot lost 7-5, 6-4; 3, Tamia Rios lost 6-2, 6-2; 4, Alyssa Eden lost 7-5, 6-4.

Doubles: 1, Hannah Gluth/Ellysa Bonganay lost 6-1, 6-0; Erina Horikawa/Emma Lerch lost 6-1, 6-1; 3, Patrice Woodworth/Lauren Aspery lost 6-0, 6-1.
