Paced by the best three individual scores, the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team captured a three-team match at the Lynnwood Golf Course Wednesday, April 24.

Tuesday the Wildcats placed 10th out of 24 teams at the Suncadia Girls Invitational at the Prospector Golf Course in Roslyn.

In Wednesday’s win, Annie Leete (77), Bree Roderos (85) and Cassidy Gurich (92) led the field and the Wildcats to the win on the par-65 course.

Oak Harbor finished with 461 strokes, Meadowdale had 518 and Marysville-Pilchuck did not qualify for team scoring with only two participants.

Rosego Mooki shot 97, the fourth-best score, Katie Brockway 110 and Tarra Baird 143 for Oak Harbor.

At Suncadia, Oak Harbor finished with a 420. Bellingham, led by medalist Madi McNeely (78, par 72), won with a 324.

Leete’s 92 was the 14th-best score. Roderos shot 102, Gurich 110, Brockway 116 and KC Winfield 116.

Oak Harbor faces Marysville Getchell at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Whidbey Golf Club.
