Wildcats bash Bruins / Girls basketball

Getting back on a winning track, the Oak Harbor High School girls basketball team derailed Cascade 48-26 Thursday, Jan. 2, in Everett.

The Wildcats opened the season with five consecutive wins before dropping two contests. With the non-league win over Cascade, Oak Harbor upped its season record to 6-2 (0-2 in Wesco).

The Wildcats return to league play when they travel to Edmonds-Woodway (2-0, 4-4) for a 7:15 game Friday, Jan. 3.
