The Whidbey Wildcat Wrestling Club competed in two tournaments at Anacortes last weekend, producing five champions.

Saturday, Nov. 15, 10 of the 16 WWW athletes who took part finished among the top four, including Brody Force, who won the Pee Wee 43-43 division.

Sunday, Nov. 16, WWW sent 25 members to a novice tournament, which was designed for first- and second-year wrestlers, and all 25 placed fourth or better.

Dylan Estes (Novice 61-63), Liam Baca (Novice 65-70), Malik Murrarie (Novice 104-109) and Jenzia Chadduck (Novice 125-144) won their classes.

The club, which has 50 participants, began training in October under the direction of a new coach, Tom Clairmont, and a new president, Jaymie Clairmont.
