WGC opens tournament season with 2-person best-ball / Golf

The Whidbey Golf Club opened its 2018 major tournament schedule with the Annual Whidbey Dental Associates Two Person Best Ball Tournament Saturday, April 28.

In Flight 1 net scoring, Bryce Gibson and partner Nick Santa tied Steve King and Todd Krantz for the title by shooting nine-under 63s.

There was also a tie in Flight 1 gross scoring. Ron Coleman and Tim Wyer tied Arik Dahlen and Brian Wasinger at two-under 70.

In Flight 2 net, Allie Gagnon and Chad Gagnon finished first with a 14-under 58.

William Johnson and Michael Prewitt claimed the top Flight 2 gross score, 71.
