Jackson Wezeman placed seventh at the District 1 3A singles tournament Monday, Oct. 27, at Jackson High School in Mill Creek.
Wezeman, an Oak Harbor High School sophomore, entered as the No. 4 seed from the North and fell to the top seed from the South, Glacier Peak’s Patrick Luangrath, 6-1, 6-2.
In the consolation round, Wezeman fell to another GP player, the South’s third-seeded Scott Wilson, 6-0, 6-1 and was eliminated.
