The City of Oak Harbor is seeking volunteers to help with the 2017 Whidbey Island Marathon activities April 21-23.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of events, from helping set up the pre-race Expo to manning water stations during the race.

“This is a fun way to get involved in the community and cheer on runners from all over,” volunteer coordinator Melissa Riker said. “If you are looking for volunteer credits, we would be happy to provide you with a letter after the event.”
