The Wildcat girls track team won the Clash of the Counties meet over seven other schools in Mount Vernon Friday, April 30.
Oak Harbor earned 35 points, one better than Arlington in the girls race. The Oak Harbor boys finished seventh with 14 points; Marysville-Pilchuck won with 35.
Naomi Walker led the Wildcat women with two individual firsts (100, 12.95; 200, 26.36) and a relay win with Janessa Ramos, Shantae Young and Christina Alexander in the 4×100 (50.59). She was second in the long jump (16-04.75).
Young won the triple jump (34-11.75) and Nicole Mowbray was second (33-07.25).
Adrianna Royal snagged first in the 1,600 (5:22.1); she was also second in the 800 (2:22.12).
The distance medley relay team (Hannah Bressler, Abby Leete, Jessica Denmon, Jember Jansen) was second in 13:39.8.
Donovan Hunt recorded Oak Harbor’s only win in the boys meet, taking the long jump in 21-01.75. He was second in the triple jump (41-05.75) and in the 4×100 relay with Josiah Miller, Aaron Boesch and Jason Curles (44.4).
Matt Bolte was runner up in the 800 (1:57.57).

Thirds: Young, long jump, 16-04.25; 4×200 relay (Janelle Yoshimoto, Ramos, Maura McKole, Alexander), 1:50.45.
Fourths: Young, 100, 13.33; Ramos, 200, 27.84; McKole, 400, 1:02.29; Leete, 3,200, 12:06; Allison Duvenez, 300 hurdles, 49.14; Dominique Jackson, discus, 95-07; Mowbray, long jump, 16.
Fifths: Amanda Alvarado, shot, 32-02; 4×400 relay (Duvenez, McKole, Royal, Christina Wicker), 4:23.11.
Other top five finishes for the Oak Harbor boys:
Thirds: Miller, 100, 11.71, and 200, 23.5; Matt Reith, 1,600, 4:43.2.
Fifth: 4×400 relay (Connor Meyer, Chris Opdyke, Josh Sayre, Bolte), 3:42.83.
The Oak Harbor track teams are off until the Wesco North preliminaries in Arlington Wednesday, May 12.
