The Oak Harbor High School boys tennis team didn’t lose a set in route to a 7-0 season opening win at Mountlake Terrace Thursday, Sept. 9.

In singles action, the Wildcats got wins from Ben Cardinal (6-1, 6-2), Josh Evans (6-0, 6-1), Brandon Vagt (6-1, 6-1) and David DeGuzman (6-0, 6-3).

Oak Harbor winners in doubles were Max O’Dell/Geoff Worley (6-2, 6-1), Eric Berner/Michael Serna (6-1, 6-1) and Ben Harrison/Will Southard (6-1, 6-3).

The loss dropped the Hawks’ season record to 0-2.

The Wildcats travel to Shorecrest (0-2) tomorrow, Sept. 10, and to Shorewood (2-0) Monday, Sept. 13, for 3:45 p.m. matches.
