The third and fourth singles matches were rained out in the second set in Everett (9-3).

Oak Harbor earned its only point in second singles where Erin Neilon won 6-1, 6-2.

The Wildcats (5-9) were leading in both of the rained-out contests. In No. 3 singles, Laurin Rico was ahead 6-4, 5-5; and in No. 4, Clarissa Abadesco was leading 6-0, 2-2 when the rain came.

Cady O’Dell dropped the first singles match 4-6, 4-6.

All three doubles duos fell in straight sets: No. 1, Jennifer Bowers/Kerry Rathsabanhdith 0-6, 0-6; No. 2, Shannon Neilon/Alexa Holmly, 1-6, 0-6; and No. 3, Jennifer Fremd/Darcy Fremd, 4-6, 5-7.

Western Conference play concludes this week. The Wildcats’ final home match is Tuesday, May 4, with Cascade (3-10) at 3:45. Thursday, May 6, the ‘Cats travel to Snohomish (9-3).
