2019 record: 6-10; 3-5, tied for third in North Sound Conference.

Returning lettermen: seniors Chris Cernick, Arma Leyva (first-team, all-conference), Derek Leyva (second-team), Jonathan Partida, James Wood; juniors Owen Barenburg, Sage Downes, Dakota Eck, Alex Jimenez, Sam Wynn (second team).

Key newcomers: senior Zach Ginnings, freshmen Daylon Houston, Aidan Wilson.

Strengths: Experience, balance.

Weakness: Inexperience on defense.

Coach’s comment: “My goal is to form a well-organized, disciplined, exciting team to watch. I would like to finish with a winning record and earn a berth to the district playoffs.”

First match: at Mount Baker, 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 16.

First home match: Meridian, 6 p.m. Thursday, March 19.
