By a vote of WesCo North League girls coaches, Oak Harbor junior guard Mietra Smollack was named a first-team basketball all-star for her efforts on the court during the 2006/07 season.
Smollack led the Wildcats to a 11-5 league record, earning Oak Harbor the number four seed in the district playoffs.
The Wildcats dropped two straight games in the playoffs to Jackson and Mountlake Terrace, and finished the season with a 15-7 overall mark.
During the campaign Smollack had many big games, including a career-high 32 points in a 70-65 victory over Lake Stevens on Jan. 5.
