Seagulls stop Oak Harbor / Tennis

Winning a handful of close sets, the Everett High School tennis team tripped visiting Oak Harbor 5-2 in the Wesco North opener Tuesday, March 28, at Clark Park.

The Wildcats captured their team points from Maddie McKenzie in fourth singles (7-5, 6-1) and Alyssa Schneider and Johanna Schmidt in third doubles (6-4, 6-2).

Oak Harbor’s match at Marysville-Pilchuck Wednesday, March 29, was postponed because of weather. The Wildcats (0-1, 2-3) host Snohomish (0-0, 3-0) at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 31.
