The injury depleted Oak Harbor High School soccer team finished up the season with a 4-2 loss at Everett Wednesday, Oct. 29.

After a promising start that included three nonleague wins to open the season, the Wildcats collected only one conference win and finished the year 5-8-3, 1-8-3 in league.

Four different players scored for Everett (3-7-2, 5-8-3), while Suzanne Kaltenbach and Lydia Peplinski netted goals for the Wildcats.

The Seagulls raced to a 3-0 lead. The first two goals came in the first half; the second goal came off a disputed call and penalty kick.

The third goal followed a corner kick.

Oak Harbor countered with its own goal off a corner kick when Kaltenbach tallied.

After Everett scored again, Peplinski scored with an assist from Jenna Cooley.
