For the second week in a row, poor weather forced the cancelation of the Oak Harbor Yacht Club’s Thursday night sailing races.

Heavy winds caused the cancelation last week; thunderstorms scuttled the event Thursday.

The Early Spring Series is now complete, and Lucky Jim with Jim McAlpine at the helm was the series winner with 13 points. Dave Steckman in Renaissance placed second with 20 points, followed by Chad Holcomb and Yeah Dogg with 22.

A new Thursday night series will start next week.
