Behind a dominating performance, the Oak Harbor High School track teams took both ends of a double dual meet in Marysville Thursday, April 20.
The Wildcats girls raced by Meadowdale 111-37 and Marysville Getchell 91-57.
The boys beat Meadowdale 114-27 and the host Chargers 101-43.
The Oak Harbor girls posted the best marks in 10 of 18 events, and finished second in eight.
The boys won 12 of 17 and added seven seconds.
Jenna Cooley won three events (long jump, 15-09.75; 400, 1:05.17; 200, 28.38), and Alexis Smith (1,600, 5:34.18; 3,200, 12:13.2) and Kaitlyn Chelberg (100 hurdles, 16.95; 300 hurdles, 50.64) were double winners for the girls.
Cami Bristow finished first in the javelin (102-02); Jennifer Turnek, Jessica Vester, Taylor Kesler and Samantha Hines won the 4×400 relay (4:25.96); and Maria Dailey, Alora Caillier, Kesler and Amaya Rittierodt won the 4×100 (53.15).
For the boys, Garren Guerrero won three individual events (110 hurdles, 17.36; 300 hurdles, 44.21; triple jump, 41-11), and Isaac Gomez won two (shot put, 42-06.5; discus, 138-11).
Andrew Miller won the long jump (20-01) and 4×100 relay with Jordan Washington, Dorian Hardin and Taeson Hardin (44.52). Taeson Hardin added a first in the 100 (11.93).
Ozell Jackson captured the 400 (52.74) and the 4×400 relay with Brycin McIntyre, Miguel Guzman and TJ Passmore (3:37.35). Passmore was also first in the 200 (24.55).
Ben Bozeman (javelin, 130-02) and Kyle Nickols (high jump, 5-10) claimed the other Wildcat wins.
Oak Harbor and Lynnwood go to Everett for a 3:30 p.m. meet Thursday, April 27.
