Oak Harbor falls to Arlington 10-1

Kayla Ratliff collected the only extra base hit and drove in the only run as the Oak Harbor High School softball team lost its fifth straight WesCo North game Wednesday afternoon, falling 10-1 at Arlington.

The Wildcats scored a run in the top of the first inning on Ratliff’s double to take an early lead, but that was the only Oak Harbor run that would cross the plate.

Arlington banged out 11 hits and scored a pair of runs in the bottom half of the first inning, before putting the game out of reach with four runs in the bottom of the fourth and four more in the bottom of the sixth.

Oak Harbor, 0-5 league, 3-5 overall, continued to make fielding miscues, committing three costly errors in the game.
