Stanwood lengthened its lead in the Wesco North with a 7-0 win over the visiting Oak Harbor High School tennis team Thursday, April 25.

The Spartans upped their Wesco North record to 9-1 (12-1 overall) with the win; Oak Harbor fell to 2-9 (3-11).

The Wildcats just missed snaring a point in third doubles where Brittany Rigby and Caterina Amsler were edged 4-6, 7-5, (10-6).

Oak Harbor finishes the regular season with two home matches. South leader Shorecrest (7-1, 8-2) visits at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 29, and Marysville-Pilchuck (3-8, 3-11) visits Wednesday, May 1.
