Both teams lost their regular season finales yesterday, setting up the tie-breaker.

Oak Harbor (4-9, 5-15) fell 14-2 at home in five innings to first-place Marysville-Pilchuck (9-4, 12-8) while Getchell (4-9, 6-14) was upset 8-2 by last-place Stanwood.

The Wildcats and Marysville Getchell split during the regular season, each winning at home. Oak Harbor won the first meeting 13-10 and lost the second 7-6.

The Wildcats came from behind three times to win the first game, and the Chargers overcame a four-run Oak Harbor lead to take the second.

In the loss to Marysville-Pilchuck Wednesday, Oak Harbor picked up only one hit off a pair of Tomahawk pitchers.

Morgan Young hit an RBI single; Lexie Findley collected the second RBI.

Oak Harbor committed eight errors in the game, leading to nine unearned runs off starter Emily Saar.
