Oak Harbor blanks Chargers / Volleyball

A 3-0 win at Marysville Getchell Monday, Oct. 22, helped the Oak Harbor High School volleyball team hold onto third place in the Wesco standings.

The Wildcats won 25-18, 25-20, 25-14 to raise their record to 10-3.

Oak Harbor finishes the regular season with a 7 p.m. home match against Shorewood (6-6) Tuesday, Oct. 30.

A balance attack and strong serving carried Oak Harbor past the Chargers.

Cami Bristow recorded 11 kills, Morgan Pease nine and Leielle Salinger eight. Leah Quidachay handed out 28 assists.

The Wildcats fired 15 aces. Quidachay led the way with five, while Salinger and Ceirra Dean drilled three each.

Dean also produced 16 digs, Pease 10 and Bristow nine. Pease added a pair of blocks.
