Oak Harbor begins season with loss / Tennis

The Oak Harbor High School tennis team was blanked in its first match of 2019, losing 7-0 at Meadowdale Wednesday, March 13.

It was the second shutout win for the Mavericks, who defeated Lynnwood 6-0 Monday.

The Wildcats (0-1) play their home opener at 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, against Stanwood (0-0).

Oak Harbor’s home match with South Whidbey scheduled for Tuesday, March 12, was rained out and rescheduled for 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20.
