The Oak Harbor High School cross country teams finished second to Edmonds-Woodway in a tri-meet at Stanwood Thursday, Oct. 10.

The Oak Harbor High School cross country teams finished second to Edmonds-Woodway in a tri-meet at Stanwood Thursday, Oct. 10.

The Warriors won the boys meet 30-48-52 over Oak Harbor and Stanwood, while E-W girls topped the Wildcats and Spartans 26-47-50.

Oak Harbor goes to Lakewood at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, for the 65-team Hole in the Wall Invitational.

In Thursday’s meet, Oak Harbor’s John Rodeheffer won the boys race, covering the 3.1-mile course in 17:06.8; Clayton Richardson was third in 17:41.1.

The Wildcats’ Alex Laiblin placed second in the girls race in 20:37, while Laura Rodeheffer finished fourth in 21:07.89.
