NWAC among leaders in IMXtreme standings

The North Whidbey Aquatic Club girls are third and the boys fourth in the 2010-11 Pacific Northwest Swim IMXtreme team scores.
IMXtreme is a USA Swimming program to encourage versatility in the longer events. To qualify, swimmers must have an official time during the qualifying period.
Forty NWAC girls and 24 boys qualified, including eight among the top 10 in their age groups: Price Hu (third, boys 18), Kelly Huffer (fifth, girls 11), Ciara Hu (fifth, girls 17), Laura Rosen (sixth, girls 15), Olivia Tungate (seventh, girls 10), Jacob Jepsen (seventh, boys 17), Josh Jepsen (eighth, boys 16) and Cole Weinstein (ninth, boys 15).
Thirty-nine PNS girls teams and 38 boys teams have at least one IMXtreme qualifier.
The qualifying events, according to age group, are as follows:
Nine and under and 10-year olds: 200 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly, 200 IM;
Eleven-year olds and 12-year olds: 400 free (LC) or 500 free (SC), 100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly, 200 IM;
Thirteen, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18-year olds: 400 free (LC) or 500 free (SC), 200 back, 200 breast, 200 fly, 200 IM, 400 IM.
