Meadowdale shuts out Oak Harbor / Soccer

The Meadowdale High School soccer team blanked Oak Harbor 8-0 Tuesday, April 10, at Edmonds Stadium.

The match continued a “step forward, step back” trend by the Wildcats, according to coach Jeff Laiblin.

“We had moments of success and are showing improvement, and then we make poor decisions and we get beat,” Laiblin said. “Last night we went up against a bigger, more experienced and faster team which led to matchup issues and ultimately mistakes. Every time we pushed forward and made a mistake and lost the ball, they made us pay for it.”
