Junior Joseph Gorman was named the Most Valuable Player for this season’s Oak Harbor High School boys swim team at the Wildcats’ awards banquet Thursday, March 5.

Other special awards went to Derek Volk (Captain), Garrett Karney (Whisker), Chris Trisler (Rookie of the Year) and Jared Hunt (Most Improved).

Four seniors earned varsity letters: Volk, David Nuanez, Alex Berry and Josh Blyther.

Other lettermen were Gorman, Trisler, Karney, Michael Bukolt, Jose Cabigting, Micah Geist, Eric Jensen and Garth Westcott.
