The Wolves took a 2-0 lead after the first-half inning of action, but the Falcons answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning and then exploded for 10 runs in the bottom of the third.

J.D Wilcox started on the mound for Coupeville and was relieved in the third by Ian Smith.

Coupeville had five hits in the game and committed three errors.

The Wolves are 6-6 in league games and 6-8 overall.

South Whidbey’s record improves to 5-7 in the Cascade Conference and 6-7 overall.
