The Oak Harbor tennis team collected wins in three singles matches, but it wasn’t enough as it fell 4-3 to visiting Everett Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Carter Saar (second singles) and Jackson Wezeman (fourth singles) came back from first set losses to pick up wins.
Saar won 4-6, 7-6(2), 6-1. Freshman Wezeman was blanked in the first set then eked out the next two, 7-6(5), 7-5.
Casiano Atienza captured third singles 6-4, 6-1.
Oak Harbor (0-2, 1-3) hosts Marysville Getchell (1-0, 1-3) at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19.
