Cyclocross coming to Oak Harbor

The Cascade Cyclocross Series visits Oak Harbor’s Fort Nugent Park Saturday, Nov. 22.

The Whidbey Island Bicycle Club will host the event which will include 11 races in five divisions (ages 4 and up) and three classes.

The first race begins at 9:30 a.m.

At least two world-class cyclists are expected to attend, according to WIBC’s Matt Plush.

The Oak Harbor race, the “Thanks Given’er,” is the fifth of eight in the Cascade Series.
