CPC nips Coupeville in OT / Soccer

Cedar Park Christian scored with just over a minute remaining in overtime to edge the Coupeville High School soccer team 4-3 Thursday, Oct. 11, at Mickey Clark Field.

Although the Wolves lost, coach Kyle Nelson said it was “one of our best games.”

Genna Wright tallied twice for Coupeville, and Anna Dion added the third goal.

“It was an exciting back and forth game,” Nelson said. “We had more opportunities, and they capitalized on some free kicks.”

Coupeville (1-7, 2-10-1) hosts South Whidbey (5-3, 7-5) at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15.
