Coupeville loses to 1st-place Seattle Academy / Tennis

Seattle Academy remained in a first-place tie with University Prep in the North Sound Conference tennis standings by beating visiting Coupeville High School 5-0 Monday, Oct. 14.

The Wolves (2-11, 3-11) finish the regular season with a 4 p.m. home match with Bush (1-8) Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Coupeville results with Seattle Academy

Singles: 1, Drake Borden lost 6-0, 6-0; 2, Mason Grove lost 6-3, 6-4.

Doubles: 1, James Wood/Zach Ginnings lost 6-2, 6-1; 2, Andrew Aparicio/Miles Davidson lost 6-0, 6-1; 3, Thane Peterson/Logan Martin lost 6-3, 6-0.
