A resounding 7-0 win at Chimacum Tuesday, April 11, allowed the Coupeville High School soccer team to even its Olympic League record.
The Wolves are now 2-2 in conference play and 3-5-1 overall.
“It was a great league win,” coach Kyle Nelson said. “It also shows some good growth for our team, being a much better result than our first game with them a month ago.”
In the first meeting between the teams, Coupeville eked out a 4-3 home win.
Aram Leyva and Hunter Downes each scored twice for the Wolves, while Laurence Boado, James Wood and Zach Nall each scored once.
William Nelson and Ethan Spark recorded a pair of assists, and Leyva, Wood and Uriel Liquidano collected one.
Coupeville plays a non-league match with Port Angeles (6-3) at 5 p.m. Friday, April 14, at Mickey Clark Field.
