After playing five one-point matches in six contests, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team cruised by host Maryville-Pilchuck 7-0 Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The Wildcats were dominant throughout, winning each match in straight sets and only giving up three or more points in two of the 14 sets.

The Tomahawks remained winless in six matches and 0-3 in league.

Oak Harbor also won two exhibition doubles matches in the rout. Jared Hunt and Calib Byers won 6-1, 6-1; and Max Van Dam and Raymond Paraiso took a pro set 8-1.

Oak Harbor (2-2, 3-4) travels to Shorewood (2-1, 5-1) at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.

Singles: 1, Harrison Miller won 6-0, 6-2; 2, Carter Saar won 6-0, 6-1; 3, Casiano Atienza won 6-0, 6-1; 4, Jackson Wezeman won 6-2, 6-4.

Doubles: 1, Jose Dimaculangan/Jozef Mendoza won 6-3, 6-0; 2, Jacob Nelson/Tom Dale won 6-1, 6-0; 3, Kyle Martin/Isaac Deleon won 6-2, 6-1.
