Led by four first places by Mollie Briddell, the Oak Harbor High School swim team defeated Stanwood 109-61 at John Vanderzicht Memorial Pool Monday, Sept. 23.
Briddell swam to individual wins in the 100 freestyle (1:04.73) and 100 backstroke (1:12.22); teamed up with Sarah Baxter, Tricia Desquitado and Irysh Concepcion to win the 200 medley relay (2:19.38); and linked with Erica Sugatan, Nicole Vogt and Marissa Morris to take the 400 free relay (4:38.34).
Morris added two individual firsts with wins in the 200 free (2:21.04) and 400 free (4:46.89).
Concepcion was the 50 free winner in 30.03.
The Wildcats also collected seven seconds: Vogt, 200 free, 2:35.91; Sugatan, 200 IM, 2:45.58; 100 back, 1:18.94; Desquitado, 100 butterfly, 1:18.7; Concepcion, 100 free, 1:07.04; Baxter, 100 breaststroke, 1:32.21; and the 200 free relay team (Desquitado, Empinado, Concepcion, Kennedy Trisler), 2:10.88.
