Bellevue Christian jumped to large early leads in each game on the way to a 3-0 win over the host Coupeville High School volleyball team Tuesday, Oct. 7.

The Vikings won 25-10, 25-17, 25-18.

“They kept us out of our system with tough serves, making it hard to run our offense,” Coupeville coach Breanne Smedley said.

The Wolves made late runs in the second and third sets but couldn’t catch BC.

The match, which was the final nonleague game for the Wolves, was the first for Coupeville in nearly two weeks. Now the Wolves (0-5) must wait another week to get into Olympic League play, which start at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at undefeated Klahowya (7-0).

In the loss to Bellevue Christian (7-1), Kacie Kiel had two kills and four aces, Hailey Hammer added four kills and Valen Trujillo collected 17 digs.
