Arlington soccer team tops Oak Harbor

Ryan Fakkema gave the Oak Harbor High School soccer team a 1-0 lead with a goal in the first half of Tuesday's WesCo North match against Arlington. However, Arlington rallied in the second 40-minute period with goals by David Lopez off a Walter Flores assist, and the game winner by Jake Smith to pull out a 2-1 victory.

Ryan Fakkema gave the Oak Harbor High School soccer team a 1-0 lead with a goal in the first half of Tuesday’s WesCo North match against Arlington.

However, Arlington rallied in the second 40-minute period with goals by David Lopez off a Walter Flores assist, and the game winner by Jake Smith to pull out a 2-1 victory.

The match was the first of the season for both squads.
