4 Wildcats reach finals at Hurricane Harris Invitational / Boys wrestling

The Oak Harbor High School boys wrestling team snared a first and three second-places at the Hurricane Harris Invitational at Decatur High School in Federal Way Saturday, Dec. 8.

Team scores were not available because of problems with the school’s server, according to Oak Harbor coach Larry Falcon.

The Wildcats dominated the heavyweight division where Michael Fisken defeated teammate Nate Nunez for the title.

Caleb Fitzgerald (132 pounds) and Cole Valdez (106) also finished second.

Thibault Simorato (138) claimed third, and Jakob Dailey (126) and Noah Hangan (160) placed fourth.

Oak Harbor hosts its first home meet at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, against Kamiak and Mountlake Terrace in a double-dual meet.
