William Edward Todd, 84, passed away June 8, 2009 in Burlington. He was born to John and Catherine Todd Feb. 2, 1925, in Terra Haute, Ind. William served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war he worked for the Boeing Co. His residence was in Freeland for the last 22 years and before that, Arlington for 20 years. His last days were cared for by his daughter Gloria (John) Stripling at their home. William’s favorite sports were fishing and boating.

Surviving William is his wife of 63 years, Norma Lucille Todd of Freeland; children, Gloria (John) Stripling of Burlington, Linda (Glenn) Forbes of Bothell and Roger (Melanie) Todd of Stanwood; brother, Keith (Margaret) Todd of Clinton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A private family remembrance will be held in William’s memory.
