William “Bill” Rudolph Rainey passed away on June 23, 2020 at the age of 76, in Georgetown, Texas after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born April 15, 1944 in Americus, Ga., Bill was a Vietnam war veteran, having served in the United States Army as a signal corps engineer.

Bill attended the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated in 1975.

After 20 years of service in the Army and two tours in Vietnam, Bill retired. He began working for General Dynamics, where he would spend the next 23 years before retiring.

Bill enjoyed photography, nature hikes with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by the love of his life, Ruth, who passed away in 2019 after 44 years of marriage.

Bill is survived by two sons, Erik (wife Amber) and Adam (wife Kristin), and three grandchildren, Kellan, Everett and Aria.
