Vivian Earlene Johnson Knight

In loving memory of Vivian Knight.

Vivian Earlene Johnson Knight, of Chewelah, Wash., was born in Oklahoma City on Feb. 22, 1946. She passed away on July 7, 2011, following a long struggle with diabetes and related complications.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Knight of Chewelah; three sons, Terry W. Knight, Tracy C. Rosenbaum and Kyle L. Rosenbaum; along with three grandchildren, Wylie Knight, Justin Long and Koen Rosenbaum. Vivian was preceded in death by her oldest son, Steven Rosenbaum. She is also survived by four step- daughters, Melody Leipfert, Tonia Kotulski, Laura Young and Sheri Pierce. Vivian also had numerous step-grandchildren and great-grand children that will miss her greatly.

Vivian moved to Whidbey Island shortly after she was first married to Jesse D. Rosenbaum. She met and married Lloyd in 1974 and they lived together and shared many good times for 36 years. She was a loving, selfless wife and mother and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed cooking and was considered an expert by all who knew her. In addition, she enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was an excellent fisher lady and sat with Lloyd many hours on the banks of several lakes in Eastern Washington. She also loved to travel and had spent the last four years, wintering in Arizona.

A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Tacoma on Saturday, July 16, at 3 p.m. A remembrance and celebration of Vivian’s life will be held at the residence of Boone and Rene Callies at 1270 Canterbury Lane in Oak Harbor, on Saturday, July 23, at 3 p.m. Please plan to come and help us celebrate Vivian’s Life.
