Valorie Lynn McAdams

“Val” Valorie Lynn McAdams was born to Russell Wayne and Shirley Mae (Rutherford) Brooks on Dec. 7, 1955 in Aberdeen, Wash. She entered into rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Oak Harbor with her loving family present on July 12, 2007 at the age of 51 years.

Valorie entered in marriage with Paul McAdams on July 17, 1993. She is survived by her loving husband and partner, Paul McAdams at the family home; loving children, Gavin McAdams, Megan McAdams and Shaylyn McAdams, all of Oak Harbor; her father Russell Brooks; brothers Nathan Brooks and his wife Gail of Ketchikan, Alaska, David Brooks and his wife Laurie of Oak Harbor, Kory Brooks and his wife Bobby and a sister Kami Miles and her husband Robert, all of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her mother Shirley Brooks, and her grandparent Ed and Alice Rutherford predeceased Valorie.

Private family services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Affordable Burial & Cremation Services, LLC of Mount Vernon. Cards of condolence may be sent to the family in care of the funeral home.
