Michael Joseph Thompson, 41, better known as Mike Thompson, was born August 16, 1964 to John R. and Rosalind C. (Waite) Thompson in Bridgeport, Conn., and unexpectedly entered into rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Jan. 27, 2006.

Prior to an automobile accident in 1987, Mike worked in the construction and welding trades. Mike also enjoyed working on classic cars and motorcycles. He is survived by his family, loving mother Rosalind C. Thompson of Langley; beloved brother John David Thompson and his wife Laurie, and nephew John A. Thompson, all of Clinton; and many friends at the American Legion and other places that will miss him dearly. A notice announcing the celebration of Mike’s life will be printed later.
