Thelma I. Knight, 81, of Oak Harbor, passed away June 15, 2007. She was born in Bellingham on Sept. 4, 1926, to Conrad and Dorothy (Ide) Lunde.

She graduated from Meridian High School in 1945. In 1949 she married Leslie A. Knight in Bellingham. Thelma loved plants and flowers, especially dahlias. She also enjoyed fishing with her husband. A wonderful cook, she always invited her family and friends to holiday feasts.

She will be missed dearly by the family she left behind, including her daughter Sandra Lindgren; sons Randy (and his wife Kay), Greg (and his wife Shelley), and Ron (and his wife Kelly); grandsons Jeff, Ray, Michael, Ryan, Josh, and Christian; granddaughters Connie, Gail, and Lora; sister-in-law Evalyn Goeringer; and brother Marvin C. Lunde.

She was preceded in death by her one sister Lila Charroin, and one brother Lloyd Lunde, and her husband Leslie in 2005.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Oak Harbor.
