Tamara Jane “Tammie” Moreno, 38, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at home with her family.

She was a native of Albuquerque, N.M., a resident of Oak Harbor for six years, and a Yorktown resident the past year. She was employed as program coordinator for Citizens Against Domestic Abuse on Whidbey Island, and was a homemaker in Yorktown.

Tammie is survived by her husband, Michael Scott Moreno; four children, Valerie, Alicia, Gabriel, and Nicholas; a sister, Julia Lynn Scott of Eaton, Colo.; a brother, Peter Keeling of Phoenix, Ariz.; and her grandmother, Edna Cornelius of Fairborn, Ohio.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m., at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, Yorktown, Va., by Rev. Michael Condrey. Tammie’s body has been cremated. To make contributions, call 1-800-4CANCER or go to www.cancer.gov
