Shari Leigh Thomasson, 39, wife of Captain Michael A. Thomasson, U.S. Army, died Dec. 14, 2006. She was born Nov. 6, 1967 in Hollywood, Fla., to James and Edna Bradford.

Shari and Michael have been stationed at Fort Monroe, Va., for the past year, but she previously lived in Oak Harbor, Lehrberg, Germany and El Paso, Texas. At the time of her death she was employed by the School Age Services and Child Development Center at Fort Monroe.

Shari is survived by her husband of 11 years, Michael; children, Kathryn S. Bradford, Margaret F. Thomasson and Joshua D. Thomasson; her mother, Edna S. Trad; sister, Amy Grassman; and brothers Thomas Dixon, Timothy Dixon, James Bradford and Robert Bradford.

Funeral services for Shari will be held Friday, Dec. 22 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at the Coupeville United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor.
