Ruth Vivian Elsberry, 84, of Everett, died Dec. 25, 2004.

She was born Jan. 23, 1920, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Walter and Sallie (Greenlee) Peacock. Ruth graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1937. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Ruth married Roy Elsberry Aug. 8, 1939, in Pine Bluff, Ark. They moved to Coupeville in 1978. Mrs. Elsberry lived in Coupeville until 2001.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Roy in 1994, and son Fred in 1963. Ruth his survived by her children, Jerri Harris of Greenville, N.C., David Elsberry of Sequim, Kathryn Hansen of Everett and Karin Datin of Coupeville; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Everett.
