Robert Hall

Robert Dwayne Hall, born Nov. 14, 1963 in Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away, returning to his Heavenly Father, Oct. 1, 2005. He spent his early years of education in Corpus Christi and Millington, Tenn. He graduated from Oak Harbor high School in 1983. During his high school time Robert was active in scouting and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Robert began his employment at the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island working with the Information Resource Management Department and remained there until his passing. He was an avid baseball fan, following the major teams, with the Mariners being his favorite. He was also a member of the local Fantasy Football League.

Robert will be terribly missed. He is survived by his parents Frank and Catherine Hall of Oak Harbor, a brother Frank E. Hall, III of Lafayette, La., a sister Laura Hall of Oak Harbor, a nephew Richard Phelps of Oak Harbor, and loving pet, Susie.

Robert had many fun filled vacations and wonderful times with his extended family Carla DeGroot, Steve DeGroot, Chris DeGroot, Jason DeGroot, Gene Turley, Patricia Turley, Scott Brown, Amy Brown, Haley Brown and Spencer Brown, all of Southern California. Robert is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Funeral services for Robert Hall will be held Friday, Oct. 7, at 3 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 201 NE O’Leary St, Oak Harbor. Graveside services will follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 at Burley Funeral Chapel. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor.
